Finding an honest mechanic is rare, but Kelvin at 88 Autoworks is the real deal. Another local shop with decent reviews quoted me nearly $890, claiming both of my oxygen sensors were bad and charging massive markups. My gut told me to get a second opinion, and I am so glad I brought my car to Kelvin. Kelvin scanned my car for free and showed me that only one sensor was actually throwing a code—and it was the less expensive one! He literally popped the hood and walked me through what needed to come apart to access it, explaining the labor fee with complete transparency. He quoted the part at about $175 and even suggested I drive it a bit more first to make 100% sure before throwing unnecessary parts at it. The total cost would be less than $400 instead of almost $900 at the other place!! No pressure, no upselling, just pure integrity and great communication!! Kelvin at 88 Auto works has earned a customer for life!🤗🤗🤗

I'm a bit late leaving this review, but I wanted to make sure I shared my experience. Kelvin helped me out when I was stranded on the side of the road and got me back on the road much quicker than I expected. From the beginning, his communication was excellent. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, was honest and transparent about what was wrong with my car, and clearly explained the cost. What I appreciated most was that he never tried to upsell me on services I didn't need, he only recommended what was necessary to get my car running safely again. I'm so glad I found 88. It's hard to find a mechanic shop you can truly trust, and they definitely earned mine. I'll absolutely be coming back for any future car repairs or maintenance. I've found my new go-to mechanic. Highly recommend!

I want to start by saying Kelvin has been straight up awesome through this entire experience, I went here to get my camshaft position sensor replaced, my car drove like a dream after, a month later I went to them to get my AC fixed. I was offered a ride to work and they dropped my car off at my workplace for me. They also changed my cabin air filter completely complimentary. I could not ask for better service from anywhere else, I recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable and most importantly HONEST work. If I could give 10 stars I would that’s how good they have been to me! Thank yall so so much!!

Highly recommend this shop. Not only do they do amazing work but they are very transparent and straightforward to what your car needs. I’ve had 2 wrecks and they handled the insurance claim and covered my deductible. Such an amazing experience.

The real scoop….the attention to detail is the best attribute the shop has!!! No one i got a quote from Cared as much as Kelvin did about the car and the job it’s gonna take to get my wife’s care taken care of!!! Such a great communicator explaining all the process and dealing with the insurance company and the adjuster about the parts and headlight that the car actually and saved us a great hassle from dealing with the dealership!!! Set us up with a rental company as well!!! I mean the guy sent us real time Photos of the care being repaired while we never expected this we sure are glad we found the gem of a mechanic & body shop!!!’ Well done sir and cheers to continued success in your passionate line of work!!!
